Clean Once a Week or As Needed
• Use a soft brush to remove dust particles from the crevices of the leather.
• Use a mild cleaning solution such as Dettol or even a mild face wash. In a ratio of 1:10 of cleaning solution to water.
• Always do a patch test in a discreet area such as the inside or the bottom of your bag. Check how the cleaning solution reacts to your leather.
• Dip a clean cloth into the cleaning solution and gently wipe your bag. Avoid rubbing too hard.
• Allow the bag to dry naturally once you’ve cleaned all the surfaces.

How to Store Leather
Remember that leather is a natural material and should be stored in a breathable bag, not plastic, to prevent the growth of mildew and bacteria. For handbags and travel bags, store in the provided dust bag when not in use and stuff the item with tissue or soft fabric. Doing these two things will keep the bag shape correct and protect the leather over time. To prevent creases from forming in your leather over time, make sure not to rest anything on top of the leather, and to not let it fold on itself unnecessarily. Last, but not least, please always store leather in a cool, dry place.
Leather Care Tips
Not all leathers can be cleaned with liquid solutions or moisturizing creams. Always patch test. Grease, oils and ink stains can never be removed from leather. Hidesign provides lifetime repair services. Visit a Hidesign store to know more.
