The old classic known as the French 75 was given it’s name due to the kick of the drink. It was said to be equivalent to getting hit by a 75mm shell. As such, we recommend exercising a bit of caution. And in case you feel woozy, why not collapse onto the comfortable Agate low seating sofa?
- 30 ml gin
- 2 dashes sugar syrup
- 15 ml lemon juice
- 60 ml Champagne
Combine gin, syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled champagne glass. Top up with Champagne. Stir gently.
ThreeSixty Signature Tip – While Gin is the most common base for the French 75, why not mix it up by using the original base of Cognac?
